MORTALITY DUE TO SOUTHWEST AIR CARGO MISHANDLING PRODUCTS

Today, when we went to Southwest Cargo to receive our Prince Edward Island & New York oysters, the product came in dead and over legal allowable temperature due to mishandling by the carrier.  The products shipped out of Boston & Long Island and in both cases had multiple delays creating over 40 hour routes.

This is the third time this has happened in the last two weeks and has become totally unacceptable. We have shipped seafood products very successfully for over 11 years using SW Cargo, but  due to their mismanagement over the past few months, we are no longer going to ship products with Southwest.

We are going to use Delta Airlines from now on who still has multiple non-stop flights from the East Coast with a much higher success rate than we have experienced these past few months. We will currently absorb the higher costs of shipping since so many commodities have forced price increases, already.
